At least 200 arrested at War Resisters March, including U-C IMC journalists
According to the front page of the Urbana-Champaign IMC website, several local journalists were amongst those arrested near ground zero with the War Resisters March. Audio is also posted to the site which we have and will continue to play on the air.
Those arrested were taken off by police in city buses.
According to A-Noise in NYC, as many as 1000 people are penned in by police near Irving Place, and at Madison Square Garden several thousand are taking to the streets, despite the presence of many cops.
